Enjoy the F***king chase, Dumbass.
You chose a path. Everyone does. Then you either put it at the back of your brain until it kicks you back in your ass, or you bear with it every single day until you're godamn f**ked up and no turning back.
Well, the truth is there is no perfect path then. We loose precious things along the way trying to survive while holding them like sand slipping out of your fingers. By precious things, i mean friendships. I mean support. I mean hopes. I mean dreams. I mean everything, including your own personality. I guess that's why people say "you've changed".
And then the only thing you can do is to embrace the change. Adapt. Like a survivor.
But then you realized you're not supposed to be surviving. Your mother gave birth to you not to survive. She gave you life because she wants you to live. It is different, you'll need to understand. Because this all your life is about, to survive, or live?
Therefore, it doesn't matter what path you choose. What actually matters is the way you handle your path, your life. You have a choice. To enjoy your chase on the path, or to just run along the way until you reach your ultimate destination and regret not getting a view on the way.
As a bonus, you have a higher chance to reach your destination if you enjoy the chase. People who succeed don't just drive to their goal. They appreciate every single moment on the way, entertaining themselves as much as possible. Because they understand one very important thing: if they don't succeed, at least they get the view. But most of the time, it is actually the view that contributes to their success. The fun. The passion. The process of winning.
Enjoy the game of chasing your dreams or whatever goal you have. You'll realize it is much more easier than just reaching your goal, because this time, it'll be dumbassly fun. Keep yourself alive by living not surviving. And in the end, you might have changed, but you will be a better version of yourself too.
"So right now, focus on your love of playing the game - not just winning it." - @tombilyeu
- Just a reminder to self -
Keep doing what you do! Great job!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the long wait, I forgot to wrire a reply. Here it is 😆. I currently have an unreachable goal, it's difficulty level would be the same as achieving an Olympic gold medal🥇. As much as it is so unrealistic to keep pursuing that goal, I am still in progress, because I enjoy doing it, even though I know I would NEVER achieve it. Many of my friends have tried to talk me out of it, even the "medal" itself is boycotting me, but I still adore the scenery along the way. Just like what you said, The reward may be tempting, but if the process is not much in your favor, it is very difficult to stick till the end. So I've chosen the path which I know I would not succeed, but I know that I will definitely enjoy the journey!✨
