The One Person On Stage
Do you remember the time when you watch someone's show and said, "OMG, even I can do better than him!". Well, no, you can't.
Once I'm that kind of person too, judging people from their performance, commenting about their abilities. Until someone told me about this.
It is true, though. Only when I stand on the stage and look around, only when I speak in front of the crowd, I realized. I realized the experience is not the same as what I thought. I feel my cold sweat slipping out my pores, the fear of being judged inside me exposed. I always thought I am not afraid of what people think about me, but I sure am.
You might think standing there, up there is easy. It takes courage. Bravery. To beat the fear of standing up. To be different. To be the black swan among the whites. For the toughest moment, it is the willingness to try that overcomes the fear. The willingness to step out of your comfort zone and take the first step.

Don't ever underestimate the person on stage.

You shouldn’t judge him or her. The person on the stage did his best. Did you? He made it to the stage. Did you? He simply chose to chase his passion rather than cuddling in the couch scrolling Instagram. Why should they be judged?
They learn all the way up there. They understand the challenges. Don’t underestimate their ability just because they want to be different. Don’t curse them just because you’re jealous. We live in a world where people are unhappy about how successful the others can be, and it’s just sick. Stop judging.
For those who are already on the stage, doing what you think is best, congratulations for taking that action. All the best, no matter what you are trying to achieve, for passion or money. Youtubers, page builders, artists. Being different isn’t weird. It’s an ability. The society need a change, and you guys are the leaders.
So, do you think you have the courage to stand on the stage now?
I was as judgemental as everyone before, but once I try it out myself, I finally knew how hard it was, to not just talk or speak, but to overcome the stress while facing the big judgemental audience, you need to be loud, you need to speak firmly and smoothly, you need to have good hand gesture so the audience won't notice your trembling, you need to keep your talks interesting and intriguing. That's what we usually missed out when judging, we normally just SEE and point out the flaws of others without even thinking if we could or couldn't perform the same action realistically. People judge to just show that they are better and more superior towards other, that's what we are wrong, we are all humans, we are the same, they work hard for the stage, not for our judge. Thanks for the nice blog :)
